It’s been an action packed start to camp and the children have settled in well taking part in a large number of activities on the afternoon of their arrival and yesterday morning and afternoon. Our three groups have already taken part in some very high climbing activities, bushcraft, orienteering, circus skills and archery. We enjoyed Trail of Mystery on Monday evening, where our children had to solve a murder mystery and last night saw us in full voice at our campfire in the woods.
The food has been good and plentiful and I’m sure we’ll continue to enjoy our delicious meals. They certainly give us the energy to get through our day of activities. Today our groups will take part in quad biking, fencing, problem solving and the much anticipated 3-G swing, to name but a few. We’ll have a more relaxed evening with a movie before bed. We’ll be in touch again tomorrow to let you know how our day has been. Until then, it’s goodbye from Kingswood.
