Following the problems with keeping St John’s children’s ward open overnight during the summer; NHS Lothian has invited the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (RCPCH) to conduct a review of children’s hospital services at St John’s and the Royal Hospital for Sick Children to identify a sustainable way forward. More details about the review team and process are on our website.
The Review team is visiting the area during January and February and wants to hear from users and key stakeholders. There are a number of ways for people to share their views and experiences, including:
- An online survey
- A series of focus groups with members of the public and key stakeholders on 10-11 February (people can sign up for these at the end of the survey, or by making direct contact with the team, details below)
- Direct contact via post or email (details below)
The team are keen to hear views from as many people as possible and would like to ask whether you would be able to publicise the survey through both internal and external contacts and networks. There is a poster for this purpose which can be downloaded from the College’s website.
Thank-you in advance for your help, if you’d like to discuss any aspects of the review please do not hesitate to contact the team via:
