Road Safety Council

Dear parents and carers

The Road Safety Council have noticed that there have been a few parking issues around school drop off and pick up times. People have been parking on the yellow lines outside the school, including the zig zag lines.  This makes it difficult for the buses to get past and Hazel the lollypop lady can’t see properly to let children cross the road. We would like to make it as safe as we can. Please be considerate and park in a sensible area. If you don’t see a sensible space, you could park at the library or further away and either walk, cycle or scoot the rest of the way. This would make it safer for everyone in school. We will be monitoring the situation over the next few weeks.
