On the 17th of May, Primary 5 went to Sighthill Napier University to compete in a sports competition with other schools. There were two prizes up for grabs; one for getting the most points for during the sporting events (the smaller trophy) and one for having an excellent team spirit (the BIGGER one). The Super Kickers (Hannah, Max, Kyle, Oliver, Charlie and Alsalt) won the team spirit cup! The kind volunteers from Lloyds Banking Group commented on how impressed they were with all Currie Primary Teams and said the pupils were excellent team players and had ‘enthusiasm in abundance’.
There were eight different sports; judo, trampolining, football, netball, table tennis, gymnastics as well as a healthy eating station. It was a great opportunity for us all to try something new. We hope you enjoy the iMovie showcasing our day!
