On Thursday afternoon, Derek from Parks and Greenspace came to help create a meadow area on the field. He had some Primary 5 and 6 helpers to sow wild seeds in the area.
As part of our Eco Committee action plan, we are working on developing the school grounds to help attract more wildlife. We are hoping that, by planting wild flowers in the meadow we will attract insects. The insects should then attract bats, which would be great as we want them to come live in our bat boxes!
