On Friday 20 May the whole school brought in £1 to wear Funky-Footwear for CHAS. Then, on Tuesday 24 May P7 held a sponsored silence to make more money for CHAS. We all raised £404.20 to add to the Friday total of £486.85. We found the silence hard but most of us managed it. In total we raised a fantastic £ 891.05 for the charity.
CHAS (Children’s Hospice Association Scotland) helps children with terminal illnesses to make sure that they are happy and properly cared for. It also helps with Respite Care so that families can get a bit more help and support if they are finding it hard to cope or need a break from their own house. It supports families as well as children so that families know they have help.
