The P1 registration week for session 2017/18 will take place from Monday 7th November until Friday 11th November 2016. If your child’s date of birth is between 1st March 2012 and 28th February 2013 they are due to start primary school in August 2017. If you live in the City of Edinburgh Council area you must register your child at his/her catchment school during registration week even if you wish to defer entry to school.

Enrolment times are 9.15 am – 10.15 am and 1.15 pm – 2.15 pm. If these times are not convenient please contact the school to make other arrangements.
You will receive an enrolment form in advance of this week. We request that you complete this and take with you to the school during enrolment week. Please bring with you the following documents:
- your child’s birth certificate
- your Council Tax demand notice for the current year (16/17) in your name
- A utility bill in your name (i.e. gas, electricity, landline telephone or broadband ) dated within the last 6 months
If you are unable to provide any of these, ask the school staff for advice.
If you would like to make an out of catchment request, this can be done online at http://www.edinburgh.gov.uk/placinginschools or hard copies are available at the school office. They are to be returned directly to the local authority. You should still enrol at your catchment school.
