Rather than having this interstitial page, you could have a menu item that links directly to the page. This is a feature of the custom menu, which is supported. This requires extra work, but does bring a whole host of benefits. If you are interested, read about custom menus on WordPress support.
You may choose to feature your own school calendar here, in which case you could rename the page. Please do not include term date information in your calendar – this should only be provided by the link.
