We had such a lovely day in school on Friday celebrating and embracing who we are and sharing our wonderful diverse cultures we are lucky to have ion our school family. The children all chose a workshop to attend from Spinning, Weaving And Dyeing, Chinese Dumpling Making, Vietnamese Rice Paper Rolls, Polish Lesson (And Sweets), Turkish Language and Story telling, Chinese Calligraphy, Yoga and traditional games, British Sign language, Amber Craft & Beewax Candle Making, Origami Craft, American Football or Handball, Kabaddi, Brazilian Samba Music, Indian Dance Workshop, Canadian Maple Leaf Art Activity, Wicked Drama, Australian Aboriginal Dot Painting. We finished off with a school sharing assembly where we got to find out a little bit about what everyone had been up to. It was wonderful to see so many people dressing in national costumes or wearing something representing their country.
A huge thank you to all of the volunteers and staff who ran the workshops and to Miss Conry for organising everything for us.
