Nursery Poppies

The children in our Nursery have been among poppies over the last week, making and selling poppy seed packs. So far they have raised £110 which they are donating to the Scottish Poppy Appeal. We are all incredibly proud of the work they have done. Here is what the children hade to say about their work;

We had red paper and cut with scissors – Ethan

Then we added water and mush it with a mixer- Maahi

 We added water into the paper – Finn

We stirred it up with a stirrer. We got all the paper in sieve . We put in flower and Poppy seed- Maahi

We spooned it into a poppy cutter. We squished it in – Helena 

We put it somewhere to dry. We getted some dark, dark blue. We poked it on with a paintbrush- Helena 

We putted them on a table and I buyed – Helena
