Another beautiful day on Saturday for a garden tidy. Thank you to everyone who came along to help. We got so much done. Our grounds are looking amazing!

Our new climbing frame and climbing wall have arrived and are proving popular already! Thank you to everyone on the PTA and to all of our parents, carers and families for supporting the work of our PTA over the last year as they fundraiser to purchase this equipment for us.

It was lovely to welcome some old faces back to school yesterday afternoon! The Senior Equality Ambassadors from Currie Community High School came to speak to our P7 classes about the potential for social media to promote racism.

P6 and P7 had a busy day on Saturday bag packing in Tesco at Hermiston Gait to raise money to help towards the cost of their upcoming residential trips to Benmore Outdoor Education Centre. Thank you to everyone who came along to do their shopping and to all the staff for giving up time on their day off to support this event. A huge thank you to Mrs Potter, Owen and all the staff at Tesco for making us feel so welcome.

Thank you for all of the donations sent in for our Harvest Table. They were collected by Community for Food on Friday afternoon. Martha and our House Captains spent a morning volunteering at Community for Food and interviewing Mrs Reid, one of the volunteers, to find out a little bit about what this charity does. The children put his video together to share what they learnt.
Currie Primary School is now an official collection point for Community for Food. If you have any donations please send them into school at any time.
