Our First School Ski Team

We represented Currie Primary school on the 10th of September 2024 in the SSSA freestyle competition. We gained 3 medals. A bronze and a gold in the female category and 1 silver in the male category. “It was an absolutely amazing experience! It was so cool to be representing our  school in a ski competition,” said Hugo Matthews and Oliver Dane. Ms Houston said, “I am so delighted to have a school ski team and I am proud of everyone who represented our school, and of the results at this first competition.”

Back to school

We had a lovely first week back to school, welcoming our new P1s and other new pupils to classes across our school. We have been working on creating class charters and reminding our selves of our schools values. Some of our P4s shared their thoughts and ideas on our school values with us in assembly on Friday.

End of school year

We have had a lovely end to the school year over the last few days with an Inter House Quiz, written and presented by our House Captains, which our Pine Martins won and a whole school end of year assembly this morning, where we said good bye to our P7s, other children across our school who are leaving and to members of staff moving onto new challenges. We also enjoyed a performance from our choir and finished up by presenting our House Cup to the Otters who are this year’s winners of our weekly house points.

We hope everyone has a lovely break over the summer and we look forward to seeing everyone back at school on Wednesday 14 august 2024.
