Thank you to our Fairtrade Committee for organising our fair-trade Coffee morning on Friday and to everyone for the delicious Fairtrade baking and for coming along to support this event.

We had a lot of fun at the PTA Fun Run this week! The weather was fantastic and we achieved our goal of running virtually from Athens to Paris! Thank you to everyone on the PTA for organising this event and to all of the parents who came to Marshall the course and cheer us all on!

We have one upset girl in school as her new scooter is missing. Her scooter is the same as the one in this picture but has both handle bars while this one only has one. We would be grateful if you could check in case your child has taken the wrong scooter home and return it to school. Many thanks!

Congratulations to Mrs Neillings who celebrated her 30 Year Anniversary of working at Currie Primary and Nursery yesterday!

We represented Currie Primary school on the 10th of September 2024 in the SSSA freestyle competition. We gained 3 medals. A bronze and a gold in the female category and 1 silver in the male category. “It was an absolutely amazing experience! It was so cool to be representing our school in a ski competition,” said Hugo Matthews and Oliver Dane. Ms Houston said, “I am so delighted to have a school ski team and I am proud of everyone who represented our school, and of the results at this first competition.”

We are celebrating lots of success from the Currie Horticultural Society show at the weekend! It was lovely to see the work of our pupils on show for everyone to see. Thank you to everyone at Currie Horticultural Society for inviting us to enter.

We had a lovely visit today from Mrs Yule and 3 week old Annabel May Yule. It was lovely to see Mrs Yule and to meet Annabel and to welcome her to our Currie family.
