Our first ever Movie Night was a huge success on Friday evening with a full house for our screening of ‘Sing-a-long The Greatest Showman’! Everyone seemed to enjoy the show and the evening. Thank you to the PTA for organising this event and to everyone who stayed behind at the end to help clear up.

Making a Difference

Baubles
P2 did a fantastic job of our Nativity this year with their performance of ‘Baubles’. During the show they told us all about the Christmas story through the very hard work of Mr Donaldson, our school janitor, making baubles for and hanging them on the Christmas tree. We hope everyone who came along enjoyed the show!
Christmas lunch
A big thank you to all of the ladies in our school kitchen for a magnificent feast at lunch time today. The ladies excelled themselves serving up another delicious Christmas lunch for around 400 people.
Ski competition

On Monday the 10th of December Currie Primary entered their first ever skiing competition at Hillend. We got to practice going in between cones before we started to warm up. Then we had to go up to the red line. We had racing numbers on. There were 192 skiers taking part. There were two different groups, novice and experts. Our team were in the novice section as we have only been skiing for a few months. There were about 8 markers on the course that we had to ski between. We raced against the clock. We got 2 runs each. Most of us went faster on our second run. We all really enjoyed it and are looking forward to taking part gain next year.
