Merry Christmas

aIt has been a very busy December in school with the usual Christmas events – lunch, parties, Panto and Lyceum trips, fayre, Christmas assembly and so on. A big thank you to everyone at Riccarton garden Centre for our beautiful Christmas trees in the entrance and our main hall, which have lasted so well and been at the centre of our festivities.

Our Pupil Council led our end of term Christmas assembly this morning and did a fantastic job with this. We all enjoyed their telling of the Christmas story, poems and quiz as well as both our P4/5 and P6/7 choir singing and our P7 ensemble and P7 brass instrumentalists played too, which made for a lovely assembly.

All the staff at Currie Primary would like to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a very Happy New Year. We hope everyone enjoys a relaxing couple of weeks and we look forward to seeing everyone back in school on Tuesday 9 January 2018.
