Currie Primary hockey team were in League 2 at the tournament. They won their first match 3-0 against St Peter’s Primary 2’s and then managed another win after a long battle against Juniper Green 1’s with Currie winning 2-1.
As Currie won their group they then played the winners of League 1 who were Juniper Green 2’s. A quick goal from Sam was sadly disallowed but Currie quickly scored again to the delight of the parents and grandparents who were watching nervously. Juniper Green then equalised and unfortunately managed to get another goal past us just before the whistle went, 2-1 to Juniper Green so we came second place overall.
