Georgia (P7) was a star last Sunday at the Edinburgh and Midlothian Schools Swimming Championships. Being the only pupil, whose times were fast enough to qualify she competed in the 50m free style and the 50m butterfly representing CPS.
Unfortunately, Georgia’s goggles came off as she turned in the butterfly, but she showed her resilience and swam on finishing the race. Goggles sorted, her determination showed in the freestyle where she got a PB.
Georgia represented Currie wonderfully and was very social with the other swimmers she knew and met.
The great news is Georgia can compete for CPS again next year as she is not 12 until next year. Hopefully we can have some other swimmers to join her.
