Scots Assembly

We enjoyed a wonderful Scots Assembly in school on Friday celebrating our Scottish and Celtic Culture! The day started with everyone being piped into school by Stevie and Mr Hay. Thank you to Mr Hay for arranging this very special treat for us all. In assembly we were entertained by a variety of Highland and Irish dancing, violins, chanter and pipes and drums from some of our current and exit pupils who came  back to play for us. We all enjoyed hearing the winners of our Scots verse competition reciting their poems – very well done to Lucie, Daniel, Iona, Oliver, Adam, Saliena, Maddie, Brodie, Kairan, Ellis, Poppy, Lexi, Freya, Alexander, Emily, Brodie, Emily, Musaba and Euan.
