Last term our P3 and P4 classes entered a colouring competition run by Gordon Nicholson Kiltmakers and children’s author Malcolm the Weaver. We had the lovely news this week that the winner of the competition was Erin in P4! Erin won these beautiful books to take home and £200 for our school! Erin has decided that she would like to spend the money on toys/games for the playground so everyone in school can use and enjoy them. As part of the competition Erin designed this beautiful tartan that we are hoping will be made into a kilt! Congratulations Erin!

Our French Phrase of the week this week is

‘Pardon!’ – ‘Excuse me!’

We would like to wish all of our families celebrating Eid al-Fitr, Eid Mubarak, as you mark the end of Ramadan. We look forward to hearing about Eid when we return to school next week.

We are delighted to have received a donation of scooter accessories from Micro Scooters. Renowned for revolutionising the school run with their iconic 3 wheel scooters, Micro make getting from A-B quicker, cleaner, greener, healthier, and more fun.

The prizes will be up for grabs as part of the May Fayre silent auction and raffle. 

Thank you to our PTA who organised a Spring Colouring Competition for the last week of term. Congratulations to Nam, Cameron and Hugo who were our eventually winners! A very difficult competition to judge as you will see from some of the final entries pictured here.

A beautiful, colourful end to term with our Spring Bonnets in school! Each one was unique and quite simply stunning!

Thank you to everyone who donated a chocolate egg for Community for Food. These have not been collected from school ready for delivery later this week.

Our Nursery had a visit from Sergeant Kennedy on Tuesday.  This was such an exciting visit as it sparked lots of interest within the children. The children found out information about the Police. They tried on police vests, hats and looked at handcuffs.  We talked about how the police can help us, and what modes of transport they use. The children had a shot in the police van, pressing the siren/lights and sat in the back of the van
