Yet again, the compassion and support of the parents and local community at Currie Primary has astounded us. Every time we organise these type of events, we have a slight fear that we will not have enough cakes to sell, but we should have it written in stone that Currie Primary loves a bake sale! At the moment, the total amount raised on Friday is a fantastic £1,035.53, with £500 going to Type One Diabetes and the remainder to Children in Need. The children who get the school bus even had the AAA Coach drivers putting their hands in their pockets and driving the buses in onsies. Thank you to each and every one of you who took the time to bake and/or donate to these two very worthwhile charities.
